Does the hospital have car parking available?

Parking is available on site. Take the entrance between the church and hospital and follow the signs to the parking and the hospital entrance.

Where do I go when I arrive at the hospital?

Please note that the hospital elevators are switched off until 6.30am. This is a security protocol we are unable to override as there is no one in the hospital reception to greet you before that time.

If you arrive before 6.30am you are welcome to use the outside intercom by the doors and speak to the ward nurses. They will unlock the outside door for you, and you are welcome to sit in the foyer area until the elevators automatically unlock at 6.30am

After 6.30am please take the elevators to level 2 and follow the signs to the reception area

Can I bring a support person?

You may bring a support person with you and this person can stay with you until you are prepared for surgery.

If approved by the anaesthetist a parent or carer may stay with their child in theatre as they start their anaesthetic.
